Starting a blog is really not very difficult, earning money from your blog could prove more problematic though.

If you’re just starting out online, I would suggest a Blogspot blog. Blogger is owned by Google and is very easy to set-up, add content to, and monetize, especially with AdSense, as you might suspect.

The best way to get to blogging is with your own hosted blog from Wordpress.org. The feeling is these hosted blogs get “more respect” so to speak from the search engines, and I feel there is some truth to this. If you don’t want to part with about $10.00 a month for hosting (cheap!) than a Blogger blog where it’s at.

Whether you go with a free blog or opt for a hosted blog you’re going to have to create content for your new blog. The more the better. The easiest way to create content is to make sure you already know something about the niche (subject of your blog) you decide to enter, this way you won’t need to do much research you can just write!

You also should keep in mind right from the start (before you choose a niche actually) how you will monetize your blog. Get into your visitors heads and figure out what they want or need, then your job (as an Internet Marketer) is to supply that want or need (for a price of course!) This is how you will turn your little blog into a money making machine!
